For the second time in as many Novembers, the American Raptors are heading to South America.
The Raptors departed on Wednesday morning to Medellín, Colombia for a match against Tucanes Rugby – Colombia’s national rugby team – at Rene Higuita Sports Complex at noon MT on Saturday, November 12.
Saturday’s match will be the sixth time the team has competed against a team from South America in the last 12 months. The Raptors competed in a scrimmage against Los Cuervos and two matches against Uruguay A in Montevideo, Uruguay last November, and hosted SLAR sides Penarol and Jaguares as a part of the Challenge Cup of the Americas at Infinity Park in June.
Following the match, the Raptors will head back to Glendale on Sunday, November 13.
